Customer Review: Quality High Definition for the Economy Price
I've been selling this particular model for about three months and I've been very impressed with how well it has held up against not just constant demo usage but from customer feedback as well.
First off I must warn all potential customers that with any high definition television you MUST HAVE A HIGH DEFINITION SERVICE if you want your channels to look as awesome as those televisions on the show room floor. Televisions do not magically take a cable signal from a coaxial cable and make it high def. That said, with the 1080P picture quality you can also enjoy the high definition if you have an up conversion DVD player, a Playstation 3, or an XBox 360 Elite/Halo 3 console so long as you have an HDMI cable to transfer the signal. Sadly, the Wii console only sends out a maximum signal of 480 which is not high def.
To compliment the 1080P picture quality is the 29,000 contrast ratio. Most economy-class televisions under $2000 sport around a 2000-8500 contrast ratio, which is OK but let's face it; like the song by Queen you want it all and you want it now. Samsung A3 series typically sport around 8500 contrast while economy-priced Sony Bravias are even less, making the Philips 29,000 far superior.
On top of that, the quality and endurance of the Philips 47 is top-notch. In my eight years of selling screens, Philips is one of the longest lasting if not the longest in the economy-class. They don't use cheap parts like Emerson, Sanyo, or RCA but have the same (if not better) picture as a Samsung or Sony. I hardly see any Philips returned and if they did, it's usually because they want to upgrade to the 52-inch.
The sound isn't bad for a big screen but, like any other, it is designed to be complimented by a surround sound. Nonetheless, depending on the acoustics of the room this model can operate fairly well without one although don't expect a true Pro-Logic II experience.
All-in-all the Philips 47 does something few other screens can; give the economy-class shopper a screen that dominates in picture quality making it affordable to all who want to experience true high definition.
Customer Review: smart move

Samsung T240HD LCD TV Artistry isn't something that can be measured. At SAMSUNG, we believe that artistry is the result of a delicate balance between high-end design and cutting-edge technology. We're inspired by the world around us and want to create products that are both functional and exude beauty. Introducing the T240HD from SAMSUNG. Beautiful, inside and out.
Customer Review: Excellent TV, not a monitor
I purchased the T240HD for usage as a computer monitor because of a long history with Samsung monitors being absolutely top notch. Unfortunately this product while being pitched as a monitor, makes a great TV but not a great monitor.
The resolution is very good (1920x1200) and it's very attractive and stylish.
There is no vertical height adjustment (typical for a TV but important to have in a monitor). Your desk / monitor stand had better be at just the right height. The edge is highly reflective and creates bad glare around the picture in a work environment. The adjustments are typical TV adjustments but not monitor adjustments (there is no horizontal or vertical position adjustment).
I've used Samsung monitors for many years and recommend them to my clients. When I finally purchased a HDTV I bought a 46" Samsung which is excellent. The T240HD makes a great HDTV but I regret purchasing it as a computer monitor.
Customer Review: Give it six stars!
So there is no mistake, this review is for the Samsung T240HD. It appears that others are posting reviews here for some other product because there are no cons to this HDTV/Monitor. I read the specs posted by Samgung before I purchased the T240HD and was impressed. I already own a 52" 1080p HDTV so to compare the T240HD, it is a fabulous 1080p HDTV and a spectacular computer monitor. It handles all inputs perfectly. I have a Playstation 3, a PC, and digital cable (no cable box) hooked to it. All modes are clear, sharp and bright. The remote is full featured and it handles Blu-Ray as expected. I paid $479.99 after shopping and watching the net.
Why would anyone want to wall mount a 24" TV?
For the 500 buck range, nobody else comes close in quality and features.
Eforcity 15FT HDMI to HDMI CABLE M/M FOR DVD HDTV PLASMA GOLD

Customer Review: Well worth the money
HDMI cable for this cheap, and it works! That's really all you need to know about this product. Shipping took a while, sadly, so don't order this if you need it tomorrow. Sadly, if you do need it tomorrow, you'll wind up paying about ten times this price for exactly the same product at a local store. No joke. If you can even find one this long at a local store (which is rare).
Don't listen to people who whine about signal quality, wire gauge size, lossy conductors, etc. This is *digital* - it either works or it don't. This one works just fine with my upconverting DVD player, my Xbox 360, and my HD cable box. It all looks perfect. While its technically not rated for in-wall runs, it works just fine inside a wall or hanging out in the back of your system.
I recommend you buy several of these before you need them. Have them lying around. You will eventually need them anyway, and wouldn't you rather pay half of the retail of ONE cable and get 5-6 cables instead? I promise that the first time a neighbor or friend or coworker asks and you just hand them this, it'll be well worth the few bucks.

Sony Bravia XBR-Series KDL-52XBR5 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

XBR series televisions represent the very best Sony has to offer in high definition viewing. The XBR line of Full HD 1080p televisions incorporates all of Sony's latest technologies (including HDMI v1.3 features such as x.v.Color and Deep Color). Additional features like Motionflow 120Hz enable smoother motion when viewing movies or fast-action sports. BRAVIA Engine PRO with Digital Reality Creation upconverts all interlaced and progressive video signals including HD signals directly to 1080p for amazing detail and sharpness. And it's only fitting that your XBR make a statement not only through breathtaking picture quality, but by taking your breath away with optional color bezels. Now your LCD TV can be as distinct as your own personal style.
Customer Review: I love this TV!!!!!
I actually bought the XBR4 version, which I didn't really see much difference between the XBR4 and the XBR5 except for $300. I did all my research and shopped around for months. I finally had my choices down between the XBR4 and the Samsung 8 series. The XBR4 won out, just by the fact that it doesn't have a shiny screen and doesn't have glare all that much. The picture is phenomenal, it's great for playing my XBox 360 in high-def and it's got more inputs than I'm gonna use cause I got everything running through my stereo. No complaints here except that's it's pretty heavy. Hanging it would be a 2 person job, I barely got it up on my entertainment center. Other than that, this is the best TV out there,in my opinion.
Customer Review: Simply the Best!
I am a semi-professional photographer and I'm very sensitive about image quality. This TV replaced an existing wide screen tube TV that was working fine, so I was able to take my time and fully research a replacement. To cut to the chase, this TV represents the current state of the art in image quality. Period. No compromises.
First, as to screen size. Make sure you take the time to explore the various web sites that discuss the proper screen size for your viewing location. You'll probably be surprised at how large a screen is recommended. I was initially looking at screens in the mid-40" range, but after doing the math it was clear that the 52" was the answer. And they were right, this 52" is perfect for my viewing room -- you get immersed in the film.
Second, image quality. Sony has always been at the leading edge, but I carefully evaluated the competition. Samsung came close, and the Samsung TV was a bit cheaper, but the Sony had deeper blacks and more saturated colors; not by a lot, but it was noticeable. Now here's the important part. A lot of the TV's look great when displaying a Hi-Def picture, and that's what they have connected in the stores, but the proof of the pudding is how the sets present non-HD images. The Sony XBR wins this one hands down. It's not even close. Don't make the mistake of not evaluating the non-HD capabilities. You might be very disappointed once you get the set home.
My only complaint about this TV is that it does not have true picture-in-picture (PIP) because it only has one tuner. So the ability to split the screen and watch two channels at once isn't available. While I'd like to have that capability, it's a fair trade off for the spectacular image quality.
In summary, this TV simply has the best image quality available today. Connect it to any HD source, particularly Blu-Ray, and it will take your breath away. It's a bit more expensive than the competition, but saving a few hundred dollars would be a false economy. You're going to own this TV for years and it will only cost you a few cents more a day to own the best -- it is definitely worth the cost of admission.

Customer Review: Exceeded All My Expectations
Sharps AQUOS LC32GP3U exceeded all my expectations. After an intense education process about HD TV's. I knew I wanted a good picture (even with an antenna only) along with enough hookups and choice in hookups for my VHS, DVD, Games, etc.. Sharp really accommodated my main concerns without buying added equipment or cables for what I already had. This LCD really accommodates every hook up possible except DVI, the newer upgrade to HDMIx3 was not needed for my use because I'm not using this as a computer monitor. The ability to hook this up to a computer and use it for on-line use was also an appealing option. The swiveling base as also a nice feature as well as the slim design and extra side hookups for easy access for games camcorders etc. From the moment I pulled this out of the box to full set up it took less than twenty minutes. Very easy to work and I didn't need to rely on the manual or a professional to install my TV, as a single female I didn't need a strong man to pick it up for me either. I highly recommend this TV and may even purchase another one for my sons games. The only draw back is watching VHS, which is not set up for HD quality. Even liked the analog stations, but not as well as the HD. I am not disappointed at all.
Customer Review: Best I've ever owned
This is my first and only HDTV. I do have to say it is by far the best I have ever owned. I normally buy high end TV's and this is certainly one. Picture quality is great, and the user friendliness is easy.

Customer Review: The perfect TV
Bought this TV from a regular retailer a week ago, and it is truly the best of the best. The colors are incredible, the detail is magnificent. If you have the budget for it, buy this one, no other compares. Colors are natural and crisp, details are sharp. Pair it with a new TivoHD and HD from your cable company and you'll never watch TV the same again. It offers lots of controls to fine tune the picture and sound to just the way you want, whether it's dynamic and contrasty, to warm and natural. This TV has it all! Thanks Samsung!!!
Customer Review: Best LCD TV on the market today
I have the TV for 2 weeks now. It is the best TV I have - great picture and easy to set up I also noticed that the MSRP of the TV is only $1999. It was $2999 about a month ago. If you can get it for less than $2000, you won't be sorry.
CABLE TV / HDTV / DIGITAL AMPLIFIER SIGNAL BOOSTER INTERNET MODEM AMP
Posted by admin in Deals on 03 23rd, 2009
Marketing description is not available.
Customer Review: Just a word of caution...
In looking at the picture of the signal amplifier, there appear to be three coax cable connections. I had assumed (mistakenly) that this would equate to one input and two outputs. I was quite surprised when I received the unit and one of the coax inputs was intended for DC power. Instead of a normal DC adapter with a chord that plugs into the unit, this device requires a use of coax cable in order to send power to the unit. I can't imagine that a significant amount of money was saved by implementing this convoluted engineering shortcut. As to the function of the device itself, it seems to work fine, even when used with a splitter.
Customer Review: Fantastic Product
I purchased this signal booster to push the cable signal approx 300ft from my house to the garage. Before installing the booster I was unable to receive any channel that weren't snowy in yhe garage. Now all the channels have a great picture. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the dramatic change in picture quality. This device is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone having trouble with a snowy picture or trying to send the signal to multiple TV's. I have not tried it yet with my Comcast Cable WiFi due to there is only only one output. I am planning on purchashing a second booster for this purpose. Also this booster is very simple to install and comes with everything required to install a single signal boost. Buy this and you won't be dissapointed !! Also note that it is bi-directional which allows you to use this booster with a cable modem.
